Terms and Conditions for Taxi Ride Pondy

• Passenger Capacity: Sedan vehicles have a maximum capacity of 4 passengers. SUV / Innova vehicles have a maximum capacity of 7 passengers.
• Minimum Coverage: One-way trips must cover a minimum distance of 130 km. Round trips must cover a minimum distance of 250 km.
• Round Trip Duration: One-day round trips must conclude by 11:00 PM at the pickup location.
• Waiting Charges: Waiting charges of Rs. 150 per hour will apply during the trip. No waiting charges will be imposed for food breaks, tea breaks, or restroom breaks.
• Cancellation Charges: Cancellation requests made after the driver has arrived will incur a cancellation fee of Rs. 300.
• Luggage Load: If mentioned during the booking process, a charge of Rs. 300 will apply for loading luggage onto the carrier.
• Starting and Ending KM: It is mandatory to note down the starting and ending kilometers of the trip.
• Additional Charges: Permit charges, driver bata, toll charges, interstate permits, hill charges, and pet charges (if applicable) will be billed as quoted. Toll charges will be paid by the driver using a Fastag.
• Payment Options: Payments can be made online or in cash.
• EOT Calculation: The charges will be calculated based on the running kilometers, toll charges paid via Fastag, and any additional charges.
• Minimum Daily Distance for Bangalore: For round trips from Bangalore, a minimum distance of 300 km per day is required.
• Duration of a Day: "One day" refers to a calendar day, starting from midnight 12:00 AM and ending at the next midnight 12:00 AM.

These terms and conditions are binding for all services provided by Taxi Ride Pondy. By availing our services, you agree to comply with these terms.

Refund Policy

• Refunds are only applicable for prepaid bookings made through our website. Refunds for cash payments or payments made directly to the driver are not applicable.
• To be eligible for a refund, you must cancel your booking at least 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the pickup time may not be eligible for a refund.
• Refunds are not applicable for promotional offers, discounted fares, or non-refundable bookings explicitly mentioned during the reservation process.

Cancellation Policy

• You may cancel your booking 24 hours before your scheduled journey. There are no cancellation fees except when the Taxi has already arrived at the customer's location. In such cases, Rs.300 as a one-time cancellation fee has to be paid to the driver.
• You can also modify your planned time, type of vehicle, and destination. However, the journey can't be adjusted within 8 hours of your booking.
• Amendments can be requested only if made 8 hours before the pick-up time. Changes requested within 8 hours of pick-up will not be accepted.
• In case of no-show (customer not informing 8 hours before pick-up), no refunds will be given.

Luggage Policy

We understand luggage comes in different shapes and sizes. Excess luggage charges, if any, will be at the discretion of the driver. Kindly note, taxis are passenger vehicles only.
