1. General
These Terms and Conditions govern all taxi and outstation cab services provided by Taxi Ride Pondy. By booking a ride through our website, phone or WhatsApp, you agree to these terms.
2. Passenger Capacity
- Sedan vehicles – maximum 4 passengers
- SUV / Innova vehicles – maximum 7 passengers
3. Minimum Coverage
- One-way trips – minimum 130 km
- Round trips – minimum 250 km
- Round trips from Bangalore – minimum 300 km per day
4. Round Trip Duration
One-day round trips must conclude by 11:00 PM at the pickup location. “One day” means a calendar day from 12:00 AM to the next 12:00 AM.
5. Waiting Charges
Waiting charges of Rs. 150 per hour apply during the trip. No waiting charges for food breaks, tea breaks or restroom breaks.
6. Luggage
If mentioned during booking, a charge of Rs. 300 may apply for loading luggage onto the carrier. Excess luggage charges are at the driver’s discretion. Taxis are passenger vehicles only.
7. Starting and Ending KM
It is mandatory to note the starting and ending kilometres of the trip.
8. Additional Charges
Permit charges, driver bata, toll charges, interstate permits, hill charges and pet charges (if applicable) will be billed as quoted. Toll charges are paid by the driver using Fastag.
9. Tariff (Indicative)
- One Way Drop: Sedan ₹15/Km · SUV ₹19/Km · Innova ₹20/Km
- Round Trip: Sedan ₹14/Km · SUV ₹18/Km · Innova ₹19/Km
- Driver Bata: ₹400 (all vehicles)
10. Payment
Payments can be made online or in cash. Final charges are calculated based on running kilometres, tolls and any additional charges.
